About Us

The name Flaca originated 35 years ago when my friends bestowed this nickname upon me, and I later passed it down to one of my cherished daughters. Flaca, which means Slim, has become a symbol of my personal identity. Throughout the years, I have incorporated my unique style into every aspect of my existence, infusing innovation into everything I do. It was through this process of self-evolution and embracing my creativity that I gave birth to Flaca Creations—an embodiment of my dreams turned into tangible realities. This endeavor acts as a conduit for pursuing my passions and making a positive impact on the lives of fellow creators, while also bringing joy to our customers through our diverse range of products.

Our mission is to empower women in our area and in Latin American countries by providing them with opportunities to earn income through the sale of their various products and share their personal stories in international markets.

We establish long-term, fair trading relationships with women artists, craftswomen, seamstresses, and entrepreneurs in the United States and in rural areas across Latin America. By supporting and encouraging their skills, expertise, and knowledge, we help these women achieve financial stability and independence.  We celebrate diversity and take pride in creating products that allow individuals to connect with their own values with creativity as our guiding force, we shape the impossible and bring forth designs and products that captivate the imagination. 

Our products speak a language of their own, communicating stories and emotions through a wide range of materials such as fabrics, metals, porcelain, plastic, leather, paper, and wood. Through our exceptional creations, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, allowing them to identify with our designs and find joy in their ownership.   Our sourcing process is driven by a passion for authenticity and craftsmanship, as we carefully select materials and items that represent the rich cultural heritage of Latin America.
